Today an ANPR speed camera has been installed in the village for the first time. It is expected to make regular random appearances during the trial period and hopefully beyond. This device not only records the date/time and speed, it also takes a photograph of every speeding vehicle.

This enables the incident to be followed up by the Suffolk Police and Suffolk Highways partnership. Particular attention will be given to repeat offenders during the period the camera is in use, even if the camera is in a different location within the village or indeed a different village.
